I don’t want to ruin that story experience (and I won’t), but I am happy to share if I think you should be excited for the next chapter or not. I have played the opening five hours of Ragnarök and can already answer a surprising amount of those questions. Regardless, all of them are worth checking out.The narrative offered a new perspective on Kratos’ difficult life and his attempt to build a new one, and it somehow managed to end with a satisfying conclusion while also leaving plenty of hanging threads for fans to debate and theorize over for four years. Others were created purely for aesthetics. Some of them are made for function to that subsequent playthroughs are not as daunting. These new God of War mods have breathed a second wind into the old game. That means there's plenty of focused distraction to be had before the eventual God of War Ragnarok release. The father-and-son dysfunction and Kratos allergy to smiling might make things a little too serious or gloomy.
